UK framework agreement

G-Cloud 13

G-Cloud 13 is the UK government framework for cloud hosting, software and support. Buyers in central government, the NHS, councils and the wider public sector use it to buy cloud services through the Digital Marketplace without running a full tender.

Right fit if

Right for SMBs selling SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, or cloud-related professional services to the UK public sector. Particularly strong if you have a productised offering, a published price list, and you can describe what you do in plain English. Most of the framework's spend goes through call-off competitions, so visibility and a tight Service Definition matter more than scale.

Wrong fit if

Wrong fit if your product needs heavy on-prem integration, if you sell into a single buyer who already runs their own bespoke procurement, or if your contracts routinely run beyond 36 months. G-Cloud is also the wrong route for purely physical hardware, hosted on-site systems, or anything that does not naturally render as a cloud service.
